TOM’S YARD.

Hello,

My name is Thomas and I own Tom’s Yard in Much Birch, a few miles down the A49 from Hereford city. I started the business by importing hand-thrown terracotta pots from Crete back in 2020 and 4 years later I now stock a rather wide range of quality terracotta pots imported directly from Tuscany and the Greek island.

I would like to get in touch to offer a 15% discount to all of your gardening club members for 2024. Applicable to all terracotta pots in the business.

I hope this contributes towards them getting the most out of their annual membership fee.

If any of your members would ever like to visit, I am open by appointment 7 days a week around plant fairs & deliveries and do offer a white glove delivery service covering a 2-hour radius of my ‘Yard’.

Happy gardening!

Yours,

Thomas

‘Confessions of a TV Gardener’

Good afternoon,

St Andrew’s Methodist Church, Pump Street Worcester, is organising a fundraising event which we would like to advertise around local gardening clubs. It is a gardening talk by David Domoney who often appears on TV. The title is ‘Confessions of a TV Gardener’. It is on Saturday, March 2nd at 7 pm, with Tea, Coffee and Cake served from 6 pm. Tickets are £10 including refreshments on arrival. Tickets can be booked by emailing tickets.standrewswr1@gmail.com

Would it be possible for you to circulate the attached flyer to your members, please?

Many thanks

Christine

Bookings Steward

The committee has planned an excellent programme of talks, garden visits and a coach trip for this year.

The full ‘Programme’ is on the website and can be downloaded for printing, they are beginning to plan for 2025!

Priority will be given to members for garden visits and the coach trip where numbers are limited so if you haven’t already done so now is the time to renew your membership, still excellent value at £7.50.

Help.

We are looking for someone with IT skills to assist with the administration of the club. If you think you could help please speak to either Larry or Brian.
