Ready for opening
Preparing for Duncan's’ presentation
The May meeting saw a change from our usual gardener’s market. This year the meeting began with refreshments and plant sales by club members, who produced a wonderful selection of plants and Duncan Coombs, who brought plants from Pershore Collage plant centre. This was then followed by an interesting and informative presentation by Duncan, ’A spring visit to Japan’s Gardens and Countryside’.

Everyone enjoyed this tour of Japan’s unique gardens and countryside.

A big thank you to all involved, those who brought plants to sell, David Creighton for managing the donated plant stall, the ladies in the refreshment department for producing the teas early, Rod Pardoe and Larry Gleaves for putting out the tables and chairs, especially Larry who only recently had a stent inserted!

It was good to see Douglas and Jasmine back following their health problems, also Marina, a founding member, who has been unable to attend for some time.
