Mary Fenton a self-taught photographer and gardener who enjoys sharing the gardens she has visited and the surrounding landscapes and wildflowers she has found along the way. These she shared with us using her photographs to illustrate her talk ‘Summertime in Western Scotland’ visiting some of the gardens in Western Scotland that are open to the public, as well as showing the landscape and wildflowers, some of which could be easily missed. Most, but not all, of the gardens visited are owned by National Trust for Scotland. Her visit to Western Scotland took place in the first 2 weeks of June.
