Our AimsOur society aims to bring together those of all ages with a common interest in horticulture so that they might share their enthusiasm and enjoyment of plants, gardens and gardening.
To provide an opportunity for members to broaden their knowledge of plants, the growing of healthy fruit and vegetables and to encourage planting which restores biodiversity to our gardens: creating an environment which supports bees, butterflies and other pollinators.
Our ActivitiesIn the autumn and winter months we host illustrated talks on topics relating to horticulture and biodiversity. For spring and summer months garden visits are organised.
At our autumn and winter meetings plants are on sale.
Once a year we arrange a Gardeners’ Market at Callow End Village Hall, Worcestershire. Stalls are hosted by local specialist nurseries and others and also by our own members.
Our gallery pages provide a photographic record of our field trips and our scrapbook pages give members an opportunity to express their views and share their experiences and knowledge.
